though the exact origins
of blackjack are
unknown, there is a lot
that

history of the game and
how it has progressed

developed over the

likelihood, blackjack

The earliest written
reference to a game of
this nature is of the
game
called Twenty One, which
was written about in a
book by Miguel De
Cervantes, a Spanish
author. The story of
Rinconete y Cortadilo
was
taken from the book
NovelasEjemplares but
the most successful work
of
Miguel De Cerventes was
Don Quixote. It is known
that Cervantes was
quite a gambler in real
life and this story
focused on the lives of
two
cheats who were
operating in the Seville
area of Spain.
The two characters
develop their skills in
the Spanish game of
Ventiuna
(which unsurprisingly
stands for 21) and the
story outlines the rules
of the game, stating
that the objective is to
reach 21 points without
going over 21 points.
The story also outlines
the fact that an ace
card
can hold the value of 1
or 11.
The game is not exactly
the same as the modern
day blackjack because
the game was played
using the Spanish baraja
deck, which was a deck
of
cards which didn�t
contain any cards of the
8, 9 or 10 values. It is
believed that the story
came to life in 1601 or
1602, which means that
the game would have been
played in Spain at the
end of the 1500s, start
of the 1600s. It is
therefore reasonable to
trace the history of
blackjack back to at
least this time.
By the time blackjack
arrived in the United
States, there were a
number
of bonus pay-outs paid
to players in order to
spike interest. Online

that this is not a new
phenomenon. One of the
